Story
Science is my ultimate passion, and I have the most amazing opportunity to help pave the way for future research by raising money for this cause that is so close to my heart.
In November I will be running the New York Marathon to fund raise for Spinal Cord Injury research. I feel incredibly privileged to be running as a part of the Catwalk Trust team, and for being involved in the phenomenal research being carried out at the Center for Brain Research. Being a member of the research team that is supported by the funds we raise, and knowing the far reaching benefits this will deliver, inspires me to push my boundaries and work as hard as possible to represent the cause.
Over the last couple of months, being a part of the Center for Brain Research has allowed me to take the first steps along a rewarding career in research. Being around so many passionate people and world class science has driven my passion further than I imagined possible; which is also why when offered the challenge of running 42.2km I readily accepted. Over the next couple of months of intense training and fundraising, I'll happily face any hurdles knowing that the effort is going towards something that will ultimately go on to help people with spinal cord injury.
So, anyone wanting to help raise money and support me and the wider Catwalk Trust team, please donate. your help will go a long way in supporting the research I am a part of, to help find a cure for spinal cord injury.
