Running so others can walk!! - I'm running the New York Marathon representing The Catwalk Trust - They raise money for Spinal Cord Injury (SCI ) research

Why am I doing my first marathon at 57 years of age???? Because I can - !!!!!! Others can't.

My decision to run was pretty easy as a very good mate of ours, Dave Pretorius, had a very tragic experience  a few years ago when a motorcar accident resulted in the death of his young son and his daughter suffering a paralysing spinal cord injury.

Dave has been running the NY Marathon every year since then to raise funds for spinal cord research,   I figured it’s time to go shoulder–to-shoulder with him and support CATWALK’s quest to find a cure that helps people who’ve suffered these horrendous injuries literally get back on their feet.

While we're taking on a world of pain and suffering to get over the line, ( or rather to get TO the START ) line - it would be fantastic if you could support us by making a donation - to my page.

It is greatly appreciated
