I love Running and I like most of my mates. 

One of my mates Dave Pretorius is eternally running his marathon, in 2010 in a car accident, among other horrors his daughter Holly lost the privilege to walk and is, for now, confined to a wheel chair, disabled from the waist down. Over the last few years Dave along with two other marathon teams have raised over $200,000 in running the New York Marathon. In 2017 it is now my turn to pick up the baton to raise awareness and some bucks for the CatWalk Spinal Chord Injury Trust charity who are in a search for a cure to enable people like Holly to find their feet again. In Dave’s own words “Until I see my daughter Holly walk again, there is no finish line for me”, so hopefully by helping him along the way in this November’s New York Marathon I can be a part of the solution and of course we need your help.

Everyone who donates will get a vote on what I wear for the marathon, Previous marathons have seen me in a nude suit or as a vicar as part of a wedding party so this time for you can choose between the following Disney Princess costumes;

Running the New York marathon has always been a bucket list item for me. So to wrap that up with a fantastic cause such as Catwalk along with such a generous, enthusiastic herd including some long-term mates will make this never forget experience even more special. 

As a father of two, husband of one, not designed to run, I will drop a few kilograms to keep up with the antelopes.

Even pace wins the race.
