Story
I lived in New York for 5 years, and every year watched the great race from the sidewalk, feeling inspired by each of the runners. I am looking forward to get my own chance to run it this year, heading through the five boroughs I once called home.
Running for Team Catwalk gives the event even greater meaning for me. I am proud to be running for such a worthy cause and hope that my efforts and all those supporting me will go someway to helping find a cure for Spinal Cord Injuries.
My wife Tracey will be supporting me on the day, and of course during the months of weekend training runs needed during the build up. My children Lucas (11), Noah (9) and Olivia (6) will be cheering on from Auckland.

CatWalk is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of spinal cord injuries. CatWalk funds comprehensive research to address the complex challenges of spinal cord injury. We support a wide variety of initiatives – from education to research, and therapeutic development to patient care. We are paving the way to more effective treatment and, ultimately, a cure. Each of CatWalk’s initiatives plays a vital role in achieving this goal.
