Team CatWalk 2017 New York Marathon

When: November 5th 2017

The TCS New York City Marathon has grown to become the world's largest and most popular marathon. The inaugural race in Central Park in 1970 had 127 starting participants, of which only 55 men finished and the sole female entrant dropped out due to illness. Fast-forward to 2016 and more than 50,000 runners finished the race, more than two million spectators cheered them along, and 315 million people viewed it on worldwide television.

This year our irrepressible team leader, Dave Pretorius, has persuaded 28 athletes and 8 supporters to dig into their hard-earned savings to buy a ticket to New York and join the team running to raise funds for the CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury ResearchTrust. It's a huge commitment by all our participants, so please support these wonderful individuals who make upTeam CatWalk 2017… running so others can walk.
